What is leather?
Leather is a very durable material which is created by animal skin tanning-proccess. Manc Shoes uses leather for shoes, so it will be a durable shoes with a good quality.

What is genuine leather?
Genuine leather is a 100 % high quality leather from animal. It's very durable and flexible with a long lasting color and very thic material. It will looks good through the ages.

What's the different between faux leather and genuine leather?
It's so different. Faux leather is a synthetic leather, made from chemicals, and very thin (just like a cloth). We use faux leather for certain products to produce a cheaper products. Genuine leather is a high quality material, durable and thicker.


What kind of genuine leather used by Manc Shoes?
There are a lot of leather type and from various animal. But here, we use a few of it. We will describe it:

Full Grain Leather : First highest-quality leather, we ussually call it as Full-up leather. If we scratch it, there will be a mark.

Top Grain Leather: Second highest-quality leather. But it less expensive and has greater resistance to stains than full-grain leather.

Patent leather: leather with a high gloss effect, we call it as lux leather.

Nubuck leather: top-grain cattle hide leather that has been sanded or buffed on the grain side, or outside, to give a slight nap of short protein fibers, producing a velvet-like surface.

Suede: made from the underside of animal skin, suede is less durable but softer than other leather.
